Virtual Circuit
A dedicated point-to-point layer 2 connection between any two nusa-IX member ports, fully isolated from the public peering LAN with a VLAN.
About Virtual Circuit
nusa-IX Virtual Circuit gives you a private layer 2 path between your port and another member port, carried over the same physical connection you already use for peering. Traffic never touches the public exchange fabric. Both parties must be connected to nusa-IX, and the B-end member has to approve the circuit before it is provisioned.
Benefit and use case
Virtual circuits give you an optimised, dedicated connection with predictable latency — useful wherever public peering is not the right place for the traffic.
